Hello.

A bibliophile turned technologist by trade, I am a child of the internet. I made my first social media account at 11, on a dim summer night after my family fell asleep. My parents were apprehensive about the internet, overly cautious and critical of the new platforms quickly redefining life in the 2010s. But digital spaces like tumblr, Facebook, and Google Buzz operated as the new cafeterias for adolescent girls like myself, and I haven’t existed offline since.

My various digital communities—from book club email chains to niche Youtuber fan fourms and Taylor Swift tumblr groups—guided me throughout my childhood and helped me identify my passions for helping others, protecting free expression, and utilizing the Internet for social good. These forceful passions are more than the principles steering my career—they define the mark I want to leave on the world.

I studied political science because I wanted to deconstruct power structures and advocate for those silenced through institutional abuse—that same mission led me to Trust and Safety, and informs my work today. I’m a champion of freedom of expression, preventing government overreach, and making the Internet a democratic space for everyone regardless of access.
